Sensex slips below 175 points; Nifty slips below 10200

Today the market has seen a lot of ups and downs. The market saw pressure in the first hour of 1 hour. Although the market was recovering from the initial pressure, the market saw good growth. In the bullish environment today the Nifty reached the peak of 10300, while the Sensex had crossed 33400. But, during the last hour, the market was dominated by selling.
In this environment of weakness, the Nifty broke up to 10170, then the Sense dived to below 33000. Finally, the Nifty closed near 10200, while the Sensex closed close to 33050. Sensex and Nifty have lost 0.5 percent.

Selling in mid-caps and smallcap stocks has also been dominated. BSE's mid-caps index closed 0.8% down at 16791 levels. In today's turnover, the BSE Midcap Index reached 16982. Nifty's mid-caps 100 index ended 1 percent down at 19755 level. In today's business, the Nifty was able to cross the Midcap 100 Index 20000. BSE's Smallcap index closed at the level of 17982 with a weakness of 0.8%. In today's business, the BSE's Smallcap index reached 18201.

Metal, Pharma, Realty, PSU Bank, FMCG, Auto, Capital Goods and Power shares have been beaten strongly. Bank Nifty closed at a level of 25000 with a fall of 0.5 percent. The Nifty Metal Index has declined 1.5%, Pharma Index has 1.3%, PSU Bank Index has 1.8%, FMCG index 0.75% and Auto index 0.6%.

The BSE 30-share index Sensex fell by 175 points, or 0.5 per cent, to close at 33,053 level. NSE's 50-share index Nifty closed 47 points i.e. 0.5 percent and closed at 10,193 level.

In today's business, Vedanta, Cipla, BHEL, Adani Ports, Tata Motors DVR, SBI and Bajaj Finance were closed down by 3.3-1.6 per cent in giants. However, HPCL, IOC, BPCL, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Ultrate Cement, TCS, HUL, ONGC and Dr Reddy's were up 2-0.25 per cent in the giants.

Among the mid-cap stocks, Adani Enterprises, Piramal Enterprises, Torrent Power, Canara Bank and Wockhardt closed down by 3.6-2.9 per cent. However, in mid-cap stocks, 3M India, Sun TV, MRPL, NLC India and GE T & D India climbed 4.9-1.75 per cent.
