Sensex closes above 3300 for the first time

 Sensex closes above 3300 for the first time, near Nifty 10450

The market has made a long haul today and reached record high. The Sensex rose 400 points today and the bank nifty also looked at 2 percent. Today, the government bank was seen in vigor, which saw the strength of up to 3% during the PSU bank index. Finally, the Sensex and the Nifty have given the record closing. The Nifty managed to get past 10450 today for the first time, while the Sensex touched the new record high of 33651.52 today.

Even mid-caps and smallcap stocks have seen little purchases. The BSE mid-cap index closed 0.4 percent higher. The mid-cap 100 index of Nifty has seen an increase of 0.5 percent. BSE's smallcap index closed up 0.5 percent.

Banking, FMCG, metal, realty and oil and gas stocks have seen good buying. Bank Nifty closed at a record level of 25,490.5 with strong strength of about 2 per cent. Bank Nifty managed to cross 25500 today for the first time.

The Nifty's PSU bank index has gained 3.6 percent, the FMCG Index has 1.5 percent and the Metal index has gained 1.8 percent. The BSE Realty Index has gained about 3% and the oil and gas index has gained 0.3%. However, there was pressure in today's media, pharma, IT, auto, consumer durables capital goods and power shares.

BSE's 30-share index Sensex has climbed 387 points, or 1.25 percent, to close at 33,600.3. NSE's 50-share index Nifty closed 105.2 points, which is 1 percent higher at 10,440.5.
