Nifty crosses 10500, Sensex above 34000 for the first time

The domestic markets have made a new peak again today. Nifty has managed to cross over 10500 for the first time, while the Sensex has reached 34000. The Nifty has made the new highest level of 10515.1, while the Sensex managed to reach 34,005.4.

Shopping in mid-caps and smallcap stocks is showing. BSE's mid-cap index has jumped 0.4 percent, while the mid-cap 100 index of the Nifty has increased by 0.25 percent. BSE's smallcap index jumped 0.4 percent.

Shopping is seen in metal, media, auto, realty, capital goods and oil and gas stocks. Bank Nifty is down 0.25 percent and is trading at 25,580 level. Pressure is seen in PSU Bank, Pharma and FMCG stocks.

GAIL, BHEL, Tata Power, ONGC, Vedanta, Jee Entertainment, TCS, Asian Paints and Dr Reddy's have risen 1.5-0.7 per cent in the market during this period. However, Infosys, SBI, ICICI Bank, Lupine, Wipro and HDFC Bank have fallen 1.5-0.25 per cent in giants.

Mid-cap stocks include Cummins, Reliance Capital, 3M India, Gillette India and Adani Power, up 2.7-1.5 per cent. However, Aditya Birla Fashion, Emami, Crisil, Indian Bank and Bank of India have rolled 1.5-0.5 per cent in the midcap stocks.

Kirloskar Oil, 63 Moons Tech, Morpine Lab, Welspun Corp and Supreme Infra have slipped 11.6-5 per cent in smallcap stocks. However, in smallcap stocks, Adani Transmission, TV Today, Syndicate Bank, MBL Infra and Elenbach are broken by 3.1-2.5 per cent.
