Nifty closes below 10200, Sensex breaks 33,000 level
Even today, the pressure of profit booking was found in the market. Nifty slipped below the crucial level of 10,200 today in the weakness environment. The Sensex also closed below 33,000. In today's trading, the Nifty had dipped to 10,175.55, so the Sensex had rolled up to 32,900. Although the Nifty reached 10,248 today in the initial trading, while the Sense had knocked at 33,126.55. The Sensex dipped 185 points from the upper levels of the day, the Nifty rolled 60 points.
Selling in mid-caps and smallcap stocks also showed. BSE's mid-cap index closed 0.25 percent lower. Nifty's mid-caps 100 Index has a weakness of 0.25 percent. BSE's smallcap index closed down 0.2 percent.
Selling in IT, metal, PSU Bank, Pharma, FMCG, Capital Goods, Oil & Gas and Power shares Bank Nifty closed 0.3 percent down at 25,285 level. The Nifty index of IT index was 0.6 percent, 0.5 percent in the metal index, 0.7 percent in the PSU bank index, 0.3 percent in the pharma index and 0.3 percent in the FMCG index.
Bharti Infra, IOC, L & T, HPCL, Power Grid, Asian Paints, TCS, ONGC and Sun Pharma have fallen down to 4.5-1.2 per cent in giants in today's business. However, Hero Moto, BHEL, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Auto, Reliance Industries and Mahindra and Mahindra climbed 2.1-1.3 per cent.
